I started a book club with the design team. Today was our first meeting, deep diving into the first couple chapters of Just Enough Research by Erika Hall. 30 minutes of amazing discussion with incredibly thoughtful colleagues talking about user research.
We talked about everything from how to do more research, how we can overcome common objections in our own work, and more. From small topics to really big questions like how we influence the company culture to see the value in continuous discovery.
I really enjoyed taking time out of our busy schedules to talk and think more high level. I could sense everyone else’s energy in the virtual room too. Can’t wait to do more, learn more with and about my colleagues, and level up myself along with others.
